How you spend your day with us

  • You are responsible for the strategic procurement for defined commodity groups
  • You ensure the development of sustainable global sourcing strategies and continuously analyze our supply market
  • You are independently responsible for supplier management (sourcing, selection, initial and ongoing contract negotiations as well as for supplier development including quality and delivery performance)
  • You are responsible for the evaluation of supplier and risk management within your commodity groups
  • You independently identify improvement and savings potentials as well as efficiency improvement measures and initiate appropriate actions
  • You are the contact partner for our development department regarding questions of manufacturing technology and materials in the mechanical area
  • You support the operational purchasing
  • You maintain the data and terms in our ERP tool

What you bring in

  • Your completed commercial or technical education in the field of mechatronics/mechanical engineering/plastics technology, industrial engineering or comparable
  • Your several years of professional experience in technical strategic purchasing, ideally in the field of mechanical components
  • Your strong negotiation skills, assertiveness and outstanding communication skills
  • Your high level of commercial and technical understanding as well as interdisciplinary thinking
  • Your very good knowledge of German and English language (written and spoken)
  • Your willingness to travel internationally (up to 10%)
  • You strive to lead a small team in the medium term
  • You are a team player who likes to work proactively, bring in ideas and implement them with a "can-do approach".

  • The salary package including an overtime lump sum and 5 additional days off will be decided together with you upon your experience and qualification. (According to legal requirements we provide the information that the minimum annual gross salary for this role amounts to EUR 55,000. -- for 38.5hrs/week)
