How you spend your day with us

  • You manage defined sales and business development activities in Australia and New Zealand to achieve sales targets and develop new business opportunities with new and existing customers
  • You are a trusted advisor for end customers by using most modern sales methodologies
  • You develop and implement the BDM plan for Australia and New Zealand to support our sales strategy to develop software growth
  • You build a strong sales pipeline by qualifying inbound leads including Cloud Trials, Chat Tool, Email Enquiries, Tradeshow/Webinar Leads and Selected Outbound calls to strategic accounts and customers and convert them into qualified sales opportunities
  • You provide remote product and solution demos, information, and updates to the marketplace
  • You articulate the Philips Speech Processing Solution portfolio, values, and capabilities to prospects through phone and e-mail communication

What you bring in

  • Your 2+ years related professional experience (preferably in subscription software sales)
  • Your high customer and service focus with strong problem-solving skills
  • Your strong affinity for new technologies
  • Your experience working with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Your proven sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota
  • Your excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong listening and presentation as well as negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
  • Your strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and a results and goal-driven, winning attitude
  • A team player with a high degree of initiative, collaborating cross-functionally and with a willingness to learn and grow as a person
